caramelized banana with coconut ice cream
Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 1:28PM 1 banana, sliced on a bias
1/2 tablespoon superfine sugar
1/2 tablespoon butter
rum, a solid splash
coconut ice cream to serve
Heat your pan, add sugar and wait for it to melt. Stir in the butter and add the bananas, toss to coat. Remove from heat and add rum, flambe. When the alcohol is burnt off, divide the bananas between two plates and serve with coconut ice cream.

I'm shivering.....bbbbrrrrrrr....running to the store to get bananas and coconut ice cream to share with my wife. We cook and eat together also.
the flambé should warm you up!
